About SafeShieldX

SafeShieldX is a link-safety scanner. Paste a suspicious URL and get an evidence-backed verdict — safe, suspicious or dangerous — before you click.

What it does

When you submit a link, SafeShieldX investigates it on the server side: it follows the redirect chain to find the real destination, checks whether the site is reachable and served over HTTPS, looks up the domain's registration (registrar, creation and expiry dates, age), inspects DNS and TLS details, and checks the URL against the OpenPhish phishing feed. Dozens of individual signals are combined into a safety score and a verdict, and every signal is shown to you as evidence you can read yourself.

What it believes in

  • Evidence over black boxes. A verdict means little without the reasons. Every scan shows its work.
  • Honest gaps. When registration data or a feed is unreachable, we say "Unavailable" and tell you why — we never invent data to fill a panel.
  • No fear, no hype. A "clean" result means no known threat was found, not that a link is proven safe. We say so explicitly.

Honest limitations

No automated scanner can catch everything. Brand-new phishing pages may not be on any blocklist yet, sophisticated attacks can cloak their content from scanners, and a legitimate-looking domain can still host a compromised page. SafeShieldX is a strong first line of defence — pair it with the habits in our phishing-spotting guide, and when in doubt, don't click.

Who it's for

Anyone who receives suspicious links: in texts, emails, DMs and QR codes. The free tier covers everyday use; Premium adds bulk scanning, watchlists and API access for teams, researchers and developers.
